Program Focus and Objectives:
The program contains over 120 hours of instruction, runs for 7 months and features a blended format:
The typical ITMP class student make-up is made up mostly of experienced in-house tax professionals with some seasoned external tax advisors/consultants and tax authorities from all over the Americas.
Each Module has at least three Instructors come from Academia, large international consulting/law firms and tax authorities.

Based on our experience with the 1st cohort which started in Aug/2024 and ended in Jun/2025, we are estimating that the ucpcoming 2nd cohort (starting in Sept/25 and ending in Jun/26) will require an investment for the tuition between USD 3500 and USD 5000 depending on the level of scholarships and discount policies applied by the IBDT and UTDT. We are still finalizing these details. This estimate does not include the travel expenses for students to attend the in-person classes in Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo.

His extensive background includes roles as the tax director for Latin America at Adidas and as a tax partner at prominent law firms Nicholson y Cano Abogados and Baker
Joaquin is a highly experienced tax lawyer with deep and broad knowledge of Latin American tax issues, currently serving as a Founding Partner at Latin American Tax (LAT). His extensive background includes roles as the tax director for Latin America at Adidas and as a tax partner at prominent law firms Nicholson y Cano Abogados and Baker & McKenzie Argentina, where he led the tax and foreign trade department. This diverse experience has informed his current work in providing reliable regional tax support. Recognized for his expertise by various publications, Joaquin is also an active academic, holding professorships at several universities and possessing a JD from the University of Buenos Aires, an LLM from University Torcuato Di Tella, and a diploma from the University of Vienna School of Law.

In her corporate role, she is responsible for overseeing all tax matters for the company's operations across Latin America, focusing on strategic tax planning, compliance, and litigation management. An accomplished lawyer and accountant, she has extensive experience in the legal and tax departments of multinational corporations. Alongside her executive career, Zobaran is a respected tax professor, sharing her expertise at institutions such as the Associação Paulista de Estudos Tributários (APET) and Live University. In her academic capacity, she teaches postgraduate courses on complex topics like tax compliance and digital tax obligations, contributing to the development of the next generation of tax professionals in Brazil.

With over 30 years of experience in Latin American and international tax matters, Lionel is the Vice-President of Latin America Tax at Dell Technologies, where he has led the team since 2006, managing over 60 professionals across 14 jurisdictions. His responsibilities encompass tax planning, compliance, litigation, and incentive negotiation. Lionel is also the President of the Tax Executives Latin America Chapter and serves on TEI International’s Executive Committee. His prior career includes leadership roles at BDO Seidman, LLP and Grant Thornton LLP. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, he is a frequent speaker at international conferences and has published numerous articles, including a BNA Bloomberg Portfolio on Transfer Pricing for Brazil and a co-coordinated book on tax management in the digital era. Lionel is also an Adjunct Professor at Texas A&M Law School and holds an M.B.A. and two LL.M. degrees from the University of Miami and the Pontifical University of São Paulo, in addition to his J.D. from the same Brazilian university.

Victor is a distinguished international tax advisor with over two decades of experience in corporate and international taxation, currently serving as a partner at Koury Lopes Advogados where he leads the international taxation practice. In addition to his advisory role in tax planning, consulting, and transfer pricing for major corporations, he is deeply involved in academia at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT). There, he coordinates the LLM in International Tax Law, teaches in the Professional Master's Program, and serves as the editor for the international tax law journal, Revista de Direito Tributário Internacional Atual. Polizelli holds a PhD and a master's degree in tax law from the University of São Paulo (USP), as well as dual degrees in law and accounting from the same prestigious institution, and has authored numerous books and articles on key topics such as corporate taxation and transfer pricing.
